Capturing & Using Data OntheLit captures our subscribers information from the third party we have selected to handle our transactions. OntheLit captures data from web traffic by using cookies tracking software that is embedded into the OntheLit website. After a purchase, we, OntheLit use the subscribers email to begin sending content from our researched material. The email is transmitted to a third party that handles mass emailing. This third party is a trustworthy source. It will not receive any of the more sensitive information such as financial and/or personal information besides a subscribers email. The only method of tracking is cookies which we use to understand an assortment of data from each click.

Our Accounts Our accounts here at OntheLit are heavily monitored by third party surveillance services and use highly sophisticated methods of log in for each of our accounts. Our encryption practices make it very difficult for a breach to occur and for information to be harvested from our business and corporate accounts. We only share a subscribers email with one third party which handles the mass emailing. The only information this mass emailing third party receives is a subscribers email and nothing further. Our business accounts do have your credit card number and have the best encrypted practices to ensure this data is stored and secured.

Value When you, the consumer, provide your information it allows us the opportunity to showcase our services and how our data encryption practices assist with making us a reliable company. When you, the consumer, provide your credit card number it is stored within the database of an already trustworthy third party company. This company uses highly encrypted practices to ensure your financial information is safe and secure. From that initial transaction we, OntheLit, are able to share your email to our mass emailing third party. This enables yourself and many others worldwide to enjoy our content at an efficient and timely manner.
